Malaysia Airlines is set to expand its team in the United Kingdom in 2020, as it looks to kick off the Visit Malaysia campaign next year. The airline hopes to boost demand with the planned campaign.

The move to invest further in the UK and in Europe will start in December with all of the airline’s new signings broadening opportunities as well as more knowledge on the business. This will help the Malaysian company to strengthen and add to its resources.

Malaysia Airlines’ regional manager for the UK, Europe & North America, Daniel Bainbridge described the expansion as an exciting project, saying, “This represents a very exciting time for Malaysia Airlines, as we look to grow the business further in the UK and Europe, and make the Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign a great success.”

Richard De Villa, Natalie Kromponi and Martyn Bell are part of Malaysia Airlines’ team, acting as head of marketing of the UK & Europe, head of UK leisure and direct sales and account manager and corporate sales respectively. Cheun Yin Tran will be helping out Kromponi in her role.

“The recent restructuring and recruitment will add strength and depth to an already strong team, and I look forward to working with them in ensuring the continued success of Malaysia Airlines,” Bainbridge said.
